THCA/TNCAL is collaborating with Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund for a Bronze Quality Award Workshop. This virtual program is based on the Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence Criteria utilized by the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program.
Upon completion of this interactive workshop, attendees will have obtained a half day of training from a seasoned quality award examiner to gain knowledge of the criteria, learn how an application is evaluated, and obtain “tricks of the trade” to successfully write and achieve Bronze Quality Award recognition.

Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Kelly Smith, PhD, CPHQ, CLSSBB. Dr. Smith is a director in the healthcare consulting practice of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. She serves as a Gold Examiner and team lead for the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award Program and is also a gubernatorial appointee serving on the Governor’s Panel for Excellence in Long Term Care for the state of Florida. She has devoted her career to improving the quality of life and care for seniors. With a strong background in quality framework implementation and process improvement, Dr. Smith supports provider efforts in the formation of integrated, system-based operations using data analytics to drive decision making.
